I am a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist using practical, modern, and well researched strategies to help people make significant, positive changes in their lives in a relatively short period of time. I look at what the client wants to achieve( the solution ) rather than whatever prompted them to make an appointment( the problem). My approach focuses on the present and future and not on the past. I will ask my client to consider the preferred future, for instance, what would be better if the problem had improved? What would have changed? This enables the client's possible solutions to become more obvious and will give you a goal to work towards. I have used self hypnosis for the past 30 years personally and work with individuals, couples and groups. I have also worked as a teacher and trainer so you will find me relaxed and easy to talk to being non-judgemental and my wish is to empower you to take back that control through change.
The session will last 90 mins and will involve an extensive consultation in the form of a chat. This will allow me to devise a totally bespoke treatment session to get the results you require. All hypnotherapists follow a definite Code of Ethics, so all information given is in total privacy. Once the solution to the problem has been decided I will simply guide you,using relaxation and visualisation techniques, which will not only encourage but also empower this positive change. You will know exactly what is happening but will feel very relaxed allowing yourself to focus on the new future you. On discussion of your goals, I will then ascertain how many treatments. Most individual problems are changed in one session but more sessions may be necessary to reinforce this change. As you focus on the future without the problem you may find that other areas in your life change as you take back control.
All overeating is a learnt behaviour. We have very little time for cooking, sitting down and eating, so have developed bad habits such as eating to much too quickly, eating at all the wrong times. Many believe that denying themselves their favourite foods is the answer. But what we need to do is reassert your natural in-born eating patterns. Hypnotherapy will help you to eat sensibly, control your portion size, find solutions to emotional eating and much more.
Have you been emotionally hijacked just thinking about doing something which has stopped you in your tracks? Anxiety shows itself in many ways but it initially shows itself as an increased stress response and hypnosis can give you the skill to be able to switch off that thought and take control.
Do you see your pain as something that is ruling your life, that will last forever and you can do nothing about? Or do you feel it is just part of your current life but won't last forever and is something you can control to some extent by behaviour?
Hypnosis is an astonishing effective way of reducing pain and can even remove pain responses. For a person who has chronic pain, one that never seems to end, they focus internally on that pain. Hypnosis will dissociate you from that focus, suggesting and empowering ways to turn down that level of pain or numb it completely, modifying your behaviour.
I find my clients come from all walks of life and bring a wide variety of problems which can be changed, such as;

Hypnotherapy can be a very powerful tool. The ability of the hypnotherapist to discover what the reasons as to why you smoke will allow the ingrained behaviour to be modified.
